Current Agricultural Weather Conditions in Missouri

Across Missouri...temperatures are near 51 degrees north, near 57 degrees central, and near 52 degrees south. Current sky conditions are clear north, partly cloudy central, and partly cloudy south. In the north, relative humidity is near 71%, and the dew point is near 42 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 59%, and the dew point is near 43 degrees. In the south, relative humidity is near 63%, and the dew point is near 40 degrees. Winds are from the east at 7 mph north, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the east at 8 mph central, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are calm south, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 64 degrees at Lee's Summit. The lowest temperature is 50 degrees at Spirit of St. Louis.

 DAY ONE  Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected  

  Limited lightning risk.

DISCUSSION  

Scattered thunderstorms will be possible over southeastern Kansas
into far southwestern Missouri late tonight into Thursday morning.
Cloud to ground lightning and locally heavy rainfall will be 
the main risk with the storms.

 DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN  Thursday through Tuesday.

Showers and scattered non-severe thunderstorms will continue to 
develop and more across the area on Thursday.

Multiple rounds of storms will continue to track across the 
region at times from Friday into Sunday night. There will be the 
potential for severe weather with the storms Friday through the 
weekend. Heavy rainfall will also be possible with the storms and 
could lead to a localized flooding risk through the weekend.
