In the west, relative humidity is near 69%, and the dew point is near 21 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 66%, and the dew point is near 21 degrees. In the east, relative humidity is near 73%, and the dew point is near 32 degrees. Winds are calm west, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the northwest at 3 mph central, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the southwest at 13 mph east, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 0650 degrees at NAntucket. The lowest temperature is 27 degrees at Orange.

An unusually strong occluded front swept out of the Gulf of Alaska and
produced the first April thunderstorm of record at Fairbanks. Pea size hail
fell northeast of Fairbanks from thunderstorms whose tops were less than

Severe thunderstorms associated with an intense cyclone spawned a total of
forty-seven tornadoes in two days from Louisiana to Upper Michigan. The
