A quiet evening is underway with skies mostly clear except for
some passing cirrus. Gulf moisture returning northward with the
prevailing southerly winds will allow for low clouds to advect
northward later tonight, likely after midnight along and south of
I-20. Despite a weak frontal boundary slowly advancing south
toward the area overnight, do not anticipate any convection so
have removed POPs entirely through the overnight period. The only
other change was to lower sky cover through midnight prior to the
lower clouds arriving across east Texas and north Louisiana. The
remainder of the forecast looks to be on track this evening so no
other changes are needed at this time. Updated text products have
already been issued.
