A very moist airmass has allowed for scattered duirnal convection
to only gradually dissipate durg the late eve. A few showers 
remain around the keld terminal, and also just nw of the klfk
terminal. Some fog may develop where wet has brought sfc relative
humidities up, mainly at ktxk terminal, but also at klfk, keld,
kmlu, and possibly kggg. Outflow boundaries leftover will
contribute to scattered mainly aftn convection across LA and AR
portions of the area, and may be too isold across ne TX to mention
in fcst attm./07/

Based on observations at 1200am CDT, Wednesday May 23, 2018

Across Louisiana...temperatures are near 73 degrees north, near 68 degrees central, and near 80 degrees south. Current sky conditions are fair north, fair central, and fair south. In the north, relative humidity is near 93%, and the dew point is near 71 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 100%, and the dew point is near 68 degrees. In the south, relative humidity is near 79%, and the dew point is near 73 degrees. The livestock heat stress category is no stress north, no stress central, and no stress south. There is patchy fog central. Winds are coming from the southeast at 5 mph in the north, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are calm in the central, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are coming from the southeast at 6 mph in the south, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 80 degrees at N.O. INTL ARPT. The lowest temperature is 68 degrees at Alexandria and Aexandria Intl.
