Across Kentucky...temperatures are near 59 degrees west, near 56 degrees central, and near 63 degrees east. Current sky conditions are light rain west, light rain central, and light rain east. In the west, relative humidity is near 87%, and the dew point is near 55 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 77%, and the dew point is near 49 degrees. In the east, relative humidity is near 36%, and the dew point is near 36 degrees. Current drying conditions are poor west, fair central, and good east. Winds are from the southwest at 7 mph west, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to light rain. Winds are from the northwest at 7 mph central, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to light rain. Winds are variable at 3 mph east, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to light rain. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 68 degrees at Bowling Green. The lowest temperature is 54 degrees at Covington.

Temperatures for the period averaged 60 degrees across the state which was 2 degrees warmer than normal and 2 degrees cooler than the previous period. High temperatures averaged from 71 in the West to 71 in the East. Departure from normal high temperatures ranged from 0 degrees from normal in the West to 1 degrees warmer than normal in the East. Low temperatures averaged from 52 degrees in the West to 51 degrees in the East. Departure from normal low temperature ranged from 4 degrees warmer than normal in the West to 8 degrees warmer than normal in the East. The extreme high temperature for the period was 89 degrees at KOOMER RIDGE and the extreme low was 28 degrees at BRANDENBURG 4SW.

Precipitation (liq. equ.) for the period totaled 0.63 inches statewide which was 0.55 inches below normal and 54% of normal. Precipitation totals by climate division, West 0.91 inches, Central 0.80 inches, Bluegrass 0.53 inches and East 0.28 inches, which was 0.39, 0.42, 0.58 and 0.79 inches below normal.
