Across Kentucky...temperatures are near 80 degrees west, near 69 degrees central, and near 66 degrees east. Current sky conditions are mostly sunny west, light rain central, and cloudy east. In the west, relative humidity is near 46%, and the dew point is near 58 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 60%, and the dew point is near 55 degrees. In the east, relative humidity is near 54%, and the dew point is near 49 degrees. Current drying conditions are good west, fair central, and fair east. Winds are from the south at 8 mph with gusts at 17 mph west, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Winds are from the southeast at 10 mph central, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to light rain. Winds are variable at 7 mph east, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 80 degrees at Paducah and Hopkinsville. The lowest temperature is 59 degrees at Somerset.

Temperatures for the period averaged 54 degrees across the state which was 5 degrees cooler than normal and 12 degrees cooler than the previous period. High temperatures averaged from 66 in the West to 66 in the East. Departure from normal high temperatures ranged from 6 degrees cooler than normal in the West to 5 degrees cooler than normal in the East. Low temperatures averaged from 44 degrees in the West to 44 degrees in the East. Departure from normal low temperature ranged from 5 degrees cooler than normal in the West to 1 degrees cooler than normal in the East. The extreme high temperature for the period was 76 degrees at MIDDLESBORO AWOS and the extreme low was 28 degrees at BRANDENBURG 4SW.

Precipitation (liq. equ.) for the period totaled 0.47 inches statewide which was 0.75 inches below normal and 39% of normal.
