Current Agricultural Weather Conditions in Kansas

Across Kansas...temperatures are near 40 degrees west, near RAIN degrees central, and near 48 degrees east. Current sky conditions are cloudy west, light rain central, and cloudy east. In the west, relative humidity is near 59%, and the dew point is near 27 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 89%, and the dew point is near 45 degrees. In the east, relative humidity is near 71%, and the dew point is near 39 degrees. Winds are from the north at 16 mph west, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. The wind chill is near 31 degrees west. Winds are from the north at 23 mph with gusts at 35 mph central, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds and light rain. Winds are from the north at 23 mph with gusts at 32 mph east, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds.  DAY ONE  Today and Tonight

A few thunderstorms are possible into the early afternoon across 
southeast Kansas. The strongest storms will be capable of dime size 
hail and winds up to 50 mph. 

Northerly winds will gust near 45 mph today across central and
south central Kansas. Refer to the latest wind advisory for 
additional detail. 

 DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN  Friday through Wednesday

Thunderstorm chances may return to the region by early next week, 
although it remains too early to speculate on severe weather 
chances.
