Current Agricultural Weather Conditions in Kansas

Across Kansas...temperatures are near 47 degrees west, near 61 degrees central, and near 58 degrees east. Current sky conditions are cloudy west, cloudy central, and cloudy east. In the west, relative humidity is near 40%, and the dew point is near 24 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 26%, and the dew point is near 26 degrees. In the east, relative humidity is near 30%, and the dew point is near 27 degrees. Winds are from the northeast at 16 mph with gusts at 23 mph west, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Winds are from the northeast at 13 mph central, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Winds are from the north at 7 mph east, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 67 degrees at Medicine Lodge. The lowest temperature is 47 degrees at Goodland.

Freezing to below freezing temperatures are expected for tonight 
across all but the far southern row of counties in south central
Nebraska. A Freeze Warning is in effect. 

 DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN  Saturday through Thursday.

Freezing to below freezing temperatures are expected for Saturday
morning across all but the far southern row of counties in south 
central Nebraska. A Freeze Warning is in effect. 

An additional round of frost and freeze potential is forecast for
Saturday night into Sunday morning. Frost advisories and, or 
Freeze Warnings will likely be needed.

The next potential for thunderstorms arrives Monday night, with
more chances Wednesday night through Thursday night.
