Current Agricultural Weather Conditions in Kansas

Across Kansas...temperatures are near 41 degrees west, near 44 degrees central, and near 42 degrees east. Current sky conditions are cloudy west, partly sunny central, and partly sunny east. In the west, relative humidity is near 67%, and the dew point is near 31 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 65%, and the dew point is near 33 degrees. In the east, relative humidity is near 70%, and the dew point is near 33 degrees. Winds are calm west, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the east at 9 mph central, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the west at 5 mph east, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 47 degrees at Winfield, Medicine Lodge, Coffeyville, and Chanute. The lowest temperature is 40 degrees at Liberal and Elkhart.

humidity will produce elevated fire weather conditions across
extreme southwest Kansas this afternoon. Outdoor burning is
discouraged.
