Current Agricultural Weather Conditions in Kansas
Based on observations at 1100am CDT, Thursday April 25, 2024

Across Kansas...temperatures are near 65 degrees west, near 62 degrees central, and near 53 degrees east. Current sky conditions are cloudy west, cloudy central, and thunderstorms east. In the west, relative humidity is near 75%, and the dew point is near 57 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 86%, and the dew point is near 58 degrees. In the east, relative humidity is near 96%, and the dew point is near 52 degrees. There is patchy fog east. There is thunder central. Winds are from the east at 17 mph with gusts at 23 mph west, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Winds are from the east at 16 mph central, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Winds are from the east at 14 mph east, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds and thunderstorms. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 74 degrees at Liberal and Garden City. The lowest temperature is 53 degrees at Topeka Forbes, Olathe Ind, and Concordia.

Hazardous Weather Outlook For GRANT County,KS

 DAY ONE  Today and Tonight

Severe thunderstorms are expected this afternoon and tonight. Very
large hail is possible with the strongest storms, and possibly a
tornado.

Near critical fire weather conditions are forecast for extreme
southwest Kansas today. See the latest fire weather message
(TOPRFWDDC) for details.

 DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN  Friday through Wednesday

Severe thunderstorms are expected Saturday afternoon and evening
over south central Kansas. Very large hail is possible with the 
strongest storms, and possibly a tornado.

Critical fire weather conditions are forecast for much of 
southwest Kansas for Saturday. Strong southwest winds and low
humidity are forecast.
