Current Agricultural Weather Conditions in Kansas
Based on observations at 500pm CDT, Thursday April 25, 2024

Across Kansas...temperatures are near 75 degrees west, near RAIN degrees central, and near 62 degrees east. Current sky conditions are partly sunny west, light rain central, and cloudy east. In the west, relative humidity is near 55%, and the dew point is near 58 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 96%, and the dew point is near 56 degrees. In the east, relative humidity is near 77%, and the dew point is near 55 degrees. Winds are from the east at 30 mph with gusts at 40 mph west, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Winds are from the east at 20 mph with gusts at 32 mph central, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds and light rain. Winds are from the southeast at 30 mph with gusts at 44 mph east, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 85 degrees at Medicine Lodge and Dodge City. The lowest temperature is RAIN degrees at Wichita Intl.

Hazardous Weather Outlook For FINNEY County,KS

501 AM CDT Thu Apr 25 2024 /401 AM MDT Thu Apr 25 2024/

 DAY ONE  Today and Tonight

Severe thunderstorms are expected this afternoon and tonight. Very
large hail is possible with the strongest storms, and possibly a
tornado.

Near critical fire weather conditions are forecast for extreme
southwest Kansas today. See the latest fire weather message
(TOPRFWDDC) for details.

 DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN  Friday through Wednesday

Severe thunderstorms are expected Saturday afternoon and evening
over south central Kansas. Very large hail is possible with the 
strongest storms, and possibly a tornado.

Critical fire weather conditions are forecast for much of 
southwest Kansas for Saturday. Strong southwest winds and low
humidity are forecast.

TONIGHT
Partly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms this evening, then mostly clear after midnight. Some thunderstorms may produce damaging winds and large hail this evening. Windy with lows in the upper 40s. Southeast winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph, becoming south 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph after midnight. Chance of rain 50 percent.
