Current Agricultural Weather Conditions in Kansas
Based on observations at 1000pm CDT, Thursday April 25, 2024

Across Kansas...temperatures are near 56 degrees west, near 57 degrees central, and near 61 degrees east. Current sky conditions are fog west, cloudy central, and cloudy east. In the west, relative humidity is near 100%, and the dew point is near 56 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 93%, and the dew point is near 55 degrees. In the east, relative humidity is near 81%, and the dew point is near 55 degrees. Visibility is less than one mile west. Winds are from the southeast at 25 mph with gusts at 36 mph west, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds and fog. Winds are from the southeast at 24 mph with gusts at 37 mph central, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Winds are from the southeast at 25 mph with gusts at 38 mph east, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 75 degrees at Medicine Lodge. The lowest temperature is 55 degrees at Wichita Jabra and Newton.

Hazardous Weather Outlook For EDWARDS County,KS

 DAY ONE  Today and Tonight

Severe thunderstorms are expected this afternoon and tonight. Very
large hail is possible with the strongest storms, and possibly a
tornado.

Near critical fire weather conditions are forecast for extreme
southwest Kansas today. See the latest fire weather message
(TOPRFWDDC) for details.

 DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN  Friday through Wednesday

Severe thunderstorms are expected Saturday afternoon and evening
over south central Kansas. Very large hail is possible with the 
strongest storms, and possibly a tornado.

Critical fire weather conditions are forecast for much of 
southwest Kansas for Saturday. Strong southwest winds and low
humidity are forecast.
