Current sky conditions are cloudy west, cloudy central, and cloudy east. In the west, relative humidity is near 86%, and the dew point is near 51 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 60%, and the dew point is near 48 degrees. In the east, relative humidity is near 64%, and the dew point is near 47 degrees. Winds are from the southeast at 12 mph west, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the southeast at 10 mph central, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Very large hail is possible with the strongest storms, and possibly a tornado. Near critical fire weather conditions are forecast for extreme southwest Kansas today. DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN Friday through Wednesday Severe thunderstorms are expected Saturday afternoon and evening over south central Kansas. Very large hail is possible with the strongest storms, and possibly a tornado. Critical fire weather conditions are forecast for much of southwest Kansas for Saturday.
