Across Indiana...temperatures are near 41 degrees north, near 48 degrees central, and near 51 degrees south. Current sky conditions are fair north, partly sunny central, and light rain south. In the north, relative humidity is near 44%, and the dew point is near 21 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 27%, and the dew point is near 16 degrees. In the south, relative humidity is near 52%, and the dew point is near 34 degrees. Winds are from the north at 14 mph north, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Winds are from the northeast at 7 mph central, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the east at 9 mph south, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to light rain. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 51 degrees at Terre Haute, Evansville, and Bloomington. The lowest temperature is FAIR degrees at Warsaw and Kokomo.

DAY ONE Today and Tonight
Snow is expected to move into the area late tonight and could become
heavy toward daybreak Saturday, especially over White and Cass
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN Saturday through Thursday
Total snow accumulations of 2 to 5 inches are possible by Saturday
afternoon with localized amounts around 6 inches possible. The best
chances for the higher snow amounts will be over the far southern
portions of White and Cass counties and could shift even further
south. Roads may become snow covered and slick along with low
visibilities especially during the morning hours on Saturday.
Rain is expected between Monday night and Wednesday. There is a
chance for locally heavy rainfall.

A vicious tornado hit the city of Omaha NE. The tornado struck during the
late afternoon on Easter Sunday, and in just twelve minutes cut a swath of
total destruction five miles long and two blocks wide across the city
killing 94 persons and causing 3.5 million dollars property damage. (David
