In the north, relative humidity is near 64%, and the dew point is near 28 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 68%, and the dew point is near 35 degrees. In the south, relative humidity is near 61%, and the dew point is near 41 degrees. Winds are from the southeast at 13 mph north, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Winds are from the east at 9 mph central, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the east at 6 mph south, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 54 degrees at Evansville. The lowest temperature is FAIR degrees at Warsaw and Kokomo.

Killer frosts were reported in the Deep South. The frost was quite severe
around Huntsville AL, and highlighted a backward spring in the South that

An unusually strong occluded front swept out of the Gulf of Alaska and
produced the first April thunderstorm of record at Fairbanks. Pea size hail
fell northeast of Fairbanks from thunderstorms whose tops were less than

Severe thunderstorms associated with an intense cyclone spawned a total of
forty-seven tornadoes in two days from Louisiana to Upper Michigan. The
