A cold front began to move into the region during the overnight,
bringing colder northwesterly air flow into the area. Temperatures
early this morning ranged from the mid 20s to mid 30s, with wind
chill values in the teens and low 20s.

Clear skies this morning will give way to increasing cloud
coverage throughout the day as the next weak disturbance
approaches the Midwest today. Temperatures will warm into the
upper 30s and low 40s today, but with mostly cloudy skies, snow 
pack will take a few days to melt. Additional precipitation 
arrives Saturday and lingers into Sunday across the region. 
Locations that see precipitation will start to receive rain, then 
mixed precipitation, followed by snow. However, this event will be
much smaller than what moved through Thursday.

High temperatures today, will top out in the mid 30s to mid 40s 
across the Midwest, with temperatures climbing into the mid 50s 
across southwest Missouri. Lows tonight will fall back to the
upper 20s and low 30s.

In the north, relative humidity is near 72%, and the dew point is near 31 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 79%, and the dew point is near 30 degrees. In the south, relative humidity is near 73%, and the dew point is near 30 degrees. Winds are from the northwest at 16 mph north, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. The most severe November cold wave in U.S. history was in progress. A
weather observing station located 14 miles northeast of Lincoln MT reported
a reading of 53 degrees below zero, which established an all-time record
low temperature for the nation for the month of November. Their high that

High winds and heavy snow created blizzard conditions across parts of
eastern Colorado. Wind gusts reached 68 mph at Pueblo, and snowfall totals
ranged up to 37 inches at Echo Lake. In Wyoming, the temperature dipped to
14 degrees below zero at Laramie. Strong thunderstorms in Louisiana
drenched Alexandria with 16.65 inches of rain in thirty hours, with an
unofficial total of 21.21 inches north of Olla. Flash flooding in Louisiana
