Cirrus clouds moved across western Illinois this evening, as a
band of rainfall slid through eastern Missouri. Temperatures late
evening were beginning to fall into the 60s.

The dry and seasonable weather pattern will continue through the
remainder of this week and into the weekend. As High pressure
slides toward the East Coast this weekend, temperatures will climb
back into the upper 80s to near 90 by Sunday.

Lows tonight will drop into the mid 50s to mid 60s. Highs Thursday
will peak in the upper 70s across northeast Indiana, increasing
southwest to the mid 80s in Missouri.

Across Illinois...temperatures are near 51 degrees north and near 57 degrees south. Current sky conditions are partly cloudy north and mostly cloudy south. In the north, relative humidity is near 52%, and the dew point is near 34 degrees. In the south, relative humidity is near 58%, and the dew point is near 43 degrees. Winds are from the east at 12 mph north, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are unavailable central. Winds are calm south, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 57 degrees at Taylorville, Mount Vernon, Marion, and Alton. The lowest temperature is 40/ degrees at Northerly Island.

There is a chance for strong to severe thunderstorms in portions of
Missouri late tonight into Friday morning. Large hail will be the 
primary hazard.

 DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN  Friday through Wednesday.

There is a chance for strong to severe thunderstorms Friday evening,
Saturday night into Sunday morning, and Sunday evening. The best
chance for severe will be Sunday evening. There is a chance for
thunderstorms again on Monday and Tuesday.
