Weather Summary For Central And Southeast Illinois

Cirrus clouds moved across western Illinois this evening, as a
band of rainfall slid through eastern Missouri. Temperatures late
evening were beginning to fall into the 60s.

The dry and seasonable weather pattern will continue through the
remainder of this week and into the weekend. As High pressure
slides toward the East Coast this weekend, temperatures will climb
back into the upper 80s to near 90 by Sunday.

Lows tonight will drop into the mid 50s to mid 60s. Highs Thursday
will peak in the upper 70s across northeast Indiana, increasing
southwest to the mid 80s in Missouri.

Across Illinois...temperatures are near 30 degrees north, near 49 degrees central, and near 47 degrees south. Current sky conditions are clear north, partly cloudy central, and clear south. In the north, relative humidity is near 69%, and the dew point is near 21 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 61%, and the dew point is near 36 degrees. In the south, relative humidity is near 74%, and the dew point is near 39 degrees. Winds are calm north, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the southwest at 9 mph central, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the southwest at 9 mph south, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 54 degrees at Pittsfield. The lowest temperature is CALM degrees at Northerly Island.
