Surface 4-Panel Current Agricultural Weather Conditions in Illinois Based on observations at 400pm CST, Monday November 18, 2024 Across Illinois...temperatures are near 56 degrees north, near 64 degrees central, and near 66 degrees south. Current sky conditions are light rain north, partly cloudy central, and mostly cloudy south. In the north, relative humidity is near 97%, and the dew point is near 55 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 87%, and the dew point is near 60 degrees. In the south, relative humidity is near 81%, and the dew point is near 60 degrees. There is patchy fog north. Winds are from the east at 8 mph with gusts at 20 mph north, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds and light rain. Winds are from the southeast at 16 mph central, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. A band of showers, and possibly a couple of thunderstorms, will move through the area between 7 PM and 3 AM. During the passage of this band of convection, brief localized wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible. Right now the most likely area to see brief localized wind gusts up to 50 mph are generally south of a line from Sterling, Illinois to Fairfield, Iowa. DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY Windy conditions will be seen Tuesday through Friday across the area. Winds may gust up to 35 mph on Tuesday with 30 mph gusts Wednesday through Friday.
