Current Agricultural Weather Conditions in Georgia
Based on observations at 700pm EDT, Thursday March 22, 2018

Across Georgia...temperatures are near 56 degrees north, near 60 degrees central, and near 60 degrees south. Current sky conditions are fair north, fair central, and fair south. In the north, relative humidity is near 31%, and the dew point is near 26 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 24%, and the dew point is near 23 degrees. In the south, relative humidity is near 26%, and the dew point is near 25 degrees. Winds are from the northwest at 17 mph with gusts at 25 mph north, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Winds are from the northwest at 15 mph central, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Winds are variable at 5 mph south, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 63 degrees at Vidalia, Bainbridge, and Albany. The lowest temperature is 52 degrees at Gainesville.

High Fire Danger conditions are expected this afternoon and evening 
for much of central Georgia as well as portions of northeast 
Georgia. Relative humidity values will drop to 25 percent or less in 
combination with 10 to 15 mph winds and gusts of 20 to 25 mph.

 DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN  Friday through Wednesday  

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

A spectactular display of the Northern Lights was visible as far south as
Bradenton FL, El Paso TX, and Fresno CA. At Detroit MI, the display was
described "so brilliant as to blot out all stars below first magnitude".
