Current Agricultural Weather Conditions in Georgia
Based on observations at 1200pm EDT, Friday April 19, 2024

Across Georgia...temperatures are near 79 degrees north, near 82 degrees central, and near 83 degrees south. Current sky conditions are partly sunny north, sunny central, and mostly sunny south. In the north, relative humidity is near 62%, and the dew point is near 65 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 54%, and the dew point is near 64 degrees. In the south, relative humidity is near 60%, and the dew point is near 68 degrees. Winds are from the west at 7 mph north, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the north at 6 mph central, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are variable at 5 mph south, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 84 degrees at Fort Stewart and Alma. The lowest temperature is 73 degrees at Dalton and Cartersville.

 DAY ONE  This Afternoon and Tonight  

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are expected this afternoon 
and tonight along and north of a line from Columbus to Macon. 
Strong storms will be possible along with an isolated severe 
thunderstorm. The primary threats will be gusty winds, large hail,
and periods of heavy rainfall are possible in any storms that 
form.

 DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN  Saturday through Thursday  

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are possible Saturday and  
Sunday. No severe storms are anticipated at this time.
