Across Georgia...temperatures are near 64 degrees north, near 57 degrees central, and near 64 degrees south. Current sky conditions are partly sunny north, sunny central, and sunny south. In the north, relative humidity is near 57%, and the dew point is near 49 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 96%, and the dew point is near 56 degrees. In the south, relative humidity is near 87%, and the dew point is near 60 degrees. Winds are from the southeast at 6 mph north, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the east at 5 mph central, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are calm south, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 72 degrees at Saint Simons. The lowest temperature is 56 degrees at Peachtree City.

Killer frosts were reported in the Deep South. The frost was quite severe
around Huntsville AL, and highlighted a backward spring in the South that

An unusually strong occluded front swept out of the Gulf of Alaska and
produced the first April thunderstorm of record at Fairbanks. Pea size hail
fell northeast of Fairbanks from thunderstorms whose tops were less than

forty-seven tornadoes in two days from Louisiana to Upper Michigan. The
