.SYNOPSIS...
Issued at 326 AM EDT Fri Mar 29 2024

Overnight surface analysis depicts high pressure (1022 millibars)
blanketing the Tennessee and lower Mississippi Valleys, with this
feature building into the Deep South in the wake of Thursday's
cold frontal passage. Aloft...a potent, negatively tilted trough
positioned along the Mid-Atlantic coast was lifting northward,
creating a dry northwesterly flow across our region. Skies have
cleared out overnight throughout our region, with cool air
advection driving temperatures down to around 50 degrees across
inland portions of southeast GA as of 07Z, ranging to around 60
along the northeast FL coast. A wider range of dewpoints exist
across our area, with low and mid 30s across inland portions of
southeast GA, while values remain in the low and mid 50s along the
northeast FL coast.

Across Florida...temperatures are near 42 degrees north, near 59 degrees central, and near 66 degrees south. Current sky conditions are clear north, clear central, and partly cloudy south. In the north, relative humidity is near 85%, and the dew point is near 38 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 87%, and the dew point is near 55 degrees. In the south, relative humidity is near 78%, and the dew point is near 59 degrees. Winds are calm north, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the north at 7 mph central, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the northwest at 8 mph south, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 71 degrees at Key West Nas. The lowest temperature is CLEAR degrees at Lakeland.

   Hazardous Marine and Beach Conditions Linger Over The Atlantic  

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Atlantic coastal waters, 
southeast Florida, southern Florida, southwest Florida and Gulf of 
Mexico.

 DAY ONE  Today and tonight.

Rip Currents: There is a high risk of rip currents for the Atlantic 
beaches today. The risk of rip currents along the Gulf beaches will
diminish from high to moderate today.

Marine: Hazardous marine conditions continue across local waters 
behind a cold front. Breezy NW winds with gusts to near gale force 
and building seas to 10 feet are expected today

 DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN  Saturday through Thursday.

An elevated risk of rip currents will remain in place through
most of the weekend for the Atlantic beaches.

 SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT  

Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
