Dry weather and mostly clear to partly cloudy skies will continue
through today and tonight as high pressure ridging extends over 
the region. High temperatures this afternoon will reach up into 
the mid to upper 80s over inland areas and in the upper 70s and 
lower 80s along the coastline. Potential for morning fog forming
over the eastern portion of the forecast area, in the vicinity of
the I-95 and US17 corridors. Overnight low temperatures will drop
down into the upper 50s and lower 60s for most inland areas and 
in the lower to mid 60s along the shoreline.

Across Florida...temperatures are near 84 degrees north, near 84 degrees central, and near 83 degrees south. Current sky conditions are mostly sunny north, mostly sunny central, and mostly sunny south. In the north, relative humidity is near 40%, and the dew point is near 58 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 38%, and the dew point is near 56 degrees. In the south, relative humidity is near 39%, and the dew point is near 56 degrees. Winds are from the south at 12 mph north, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the east at 12 mph with gusts at 22 mph central, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Winds are from the east at 17 mph with gusts at 25 mph south, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 88 degrees at Cross City. The lowest temperature is SUNNY degrees at Lakeland.

   High Risk of Rip Currents Atlantic Beaches  

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Atlantic coastal waters, 
southeast Florida, southern Florida, southwest Florida and Gulf of 
Mexico.

 DAY ONE  Today and tonight.

Rip currents: There is a high risk of rip currents for the
Atlantic Coast beaches.

Fire Weather: RH values this afternoon may fall into the mid to upper
30 percent range across SW Florida. Low RH values and dry weather 
will result in continued fire weather concerns.

 DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN  Wednesday through Monday.

There will be a high risk for rip currents through the middle of the
week with breezy onshore flow. The risk may decrease toward the end
of the week as winds weaken and turn southeasterly.

 SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT  

Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
