Weather Summary for the Local Tri-State Region
National Weather Service New York NY
339 PM EST Thu Nov 12 2020

With a stalled cold front offshore and broad low pressure tracking
to our southeast, the forecast area will see a chance for unsettled
weather through Friday. These features coupled with high pressure
to our northwest will allow for the region to see a northeasterly
flow overnight. This will result in low temperatures dipping back
into the 40s.

Seasonable high temperatures return on Friday with the greatest
chance for rain in the morning hours. Totals will not exceed a
quarter inch. Sky cover will decrease as well from west to east
throughout the day, with the whole area seeing mostly clear skies
overnight. Lows Friday night will dip down even further with
temperatures in the mid 30s to mid 40s.

Clear skies will are expected on Saturday as high pressure builds
in from our southwest. With a northwesterly flow high
temperatures will be slightly below average, in the low 50s. Low
temperatures Saturday night will be very similar to Friday night.
