Current sky conditions are partly sunny west, cloudy central, and fair east. In the west, relative humidity is near 16%, and the dew point is near 25 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 79%, and the dew point is near 34 degrees. In the east, relative humidity is near 33%, and the dew point is near 31 degrees. Winds are from the west at 17 mph with gusts at 25 mph west, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Winds are from the northeast at 12 mph central, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the southeast at 16 mph with gusts at 23 mph east, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 74 degrees at GRAND JUNCTION. The lowest temperature is 32 degrees at WILKERSON PASS.
US Radar, All NWS Radars (In near-real time), Current Livestock Heat Stress Index (LSI), Current Wind Chill Map Hazardous Weather Outlook For UPPER HUERFANO County,CO 1140 AM MDT Fri Apr 19 2024 DAY ONE This Afternoon and Tonight Critical fire weather conditions are expected over the San Luis Valley this afternoon due to strong, gusty west to southwest winds and low humidity values. Some light snow will be possible over the central mountains, and the Pikes Peak region from late this afternoon into the evening hours. One to four inches of snow will be possible over the higher elevations. A dusting to an inch of snow will be possible over the higher elevations in northern El Paso county. DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN Saturday through Thursday Light precipitation is expected through much of Saturday, with more widespread light precipitation during the morning, and more rain and snow showers during the afternoon and evening. Snow is expected along the mountains, with mostly rain expected for lower elevations. Any snow accumulations will be minor, with around and less than 0.5 inch of snow expected. Isolated light showers will be possible Sunday through Wednesday across the region, especially along the mountains, with precipitation chances increasing again Thursday for much of the area.
