Current sky conditions are mostly cloudy west, mostly cloudy central, and cloudy east. In the west, relative humidity is near 48%, and the dew point is near 32 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 71%, and the dew point is near 39 degrees. In the east, relative humidity is near 89%, and the dew point is near 48 degrees. Winds are from the east at 3 mph west, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the southwest at 7 mph central, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the west at 6 mph east, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 51 degrees at PUEBLO, LAMAR, and GRAND JUNCTION. The lowest temperature is 21 degrees at WOLF CREEK PAS.

Small hail and gusty winds may accompany a few of the storms. Otherwise, it will windy across the plains this afternoon. Snow will increase in the mountains later tonight, with light to moderate rainfall developing across the plains. DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN Saturday through Thursday A strong spring storm system will move across Colorado Saturday bringing widespread rain and mountain snow. The snow level is expected to fall to 7000 to 8000 feet. Travel into the higher foothills and mountains will likely be very difficult with 1 to 3 feet of snow expected, with the heavier amounts expected to be in the northern mountains. SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
