.KEY MESSAGES...

- Accumulating snow and minor travel impacts across the northern
  mountains through Friday night. More significant accumulations 
  in the Rabbit Ears Pass and Park Range, and lighter 
  accumulations in the I-70 Mountain Corridor. 

- A few showers spill onto the plains today and tonight.

- Next storm system late Sunday into Monday night with mountain
  snow, and a mix of rain and snow likely for the plains. Mostly
  light precipitation amounts are expected but there could be some
  travel impacts for the mountains and higher elevation foothills.

Across Colorado...temperatures are near 46 degrees west, near 37 degrees central, and near 30 degrees east. Current sky conditions are light rain west, mostly cloudy central, and fair east. In the west, relative humidity is near 71%, and the dew point is near 37 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 61%, and the dew point is near 25 degrees. In the east, relative humidity is near 88%, and the dew point is near 27 degrees. Winds are from the east at 3 mph west, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to light rain. Winds are from the northeast at 9 mph central, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the southwest at 5 mph east, where conditions are favorable for spraying. The wind chill is near 25 degrees east. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 46 degrees at GRAND JUNCTION and CORTEZ. The lowest temperature is 19 degrees at WOLF CREEK PAS.
