Current sky conditions are mostly cloudy west, cloudy central, and light rain east. In the west, relative humidity is near 46%, and the dew point is near 31 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 76%, and the dew point is near 41 degrees. In the east, relative humidity is near 83%, and the dew point is near 46 degrees. Winds are from the east at 6 mph west, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the southwest at 10 mph central, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the west at 16 mph with gusts at 30 mph east, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds and light rain. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 52 degrees at PUEBLO. The lowest temperature is 21 degrees at WOLF CREEK PAS.

Small hail and gusty winds may accompany a few of the storms. Otherwise, it will windy across the plains this afternoon. Snow will increase in the mountains later tonight, with light to moderate rainfall developing across the plains. DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN Saturday through Thursday A strong spring storm system will move across Colorado Saturday bringing widespread rain and mountain snow. The snow level is expected to fall to 7000 to 8000 feet. Travel into the higher foothills and mountains will likely be very difficult with 1 to 3 feet of snow expected, with the heavier amounts expected to be in the northern mountains. SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
