Current sky conditions are fair west, fog central, and fair east. In the west, relative humidity is near 20%, and the dew point is near 18 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 93%, and the dew point is near 45 degrees. In the east, relative humidity is near 81%, and the dew point is near 55 degrees. Visibility is less than one mile central. Winds are from the southeast at 3 mph west, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the northwest at 6 mph central, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to fog. Winds are from the southwest at 15 mph east, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 61 degrees at LAMAR. The lowest temperature is 28 degrees at WOLF CREEK PAS.

Additionally, there is a low risk of a strong to severe storm or two across the far eastern plains this afternoon into early evening, mainly along and east of a Haswell to Lamar line. If severe storms develop, hail to the size of quarters and 60 mph wind gusts would be possible. DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN Friday through Wednesday An upper level system will start impacting our area on Friday, lasting through the weekend. Cooler temperatures, heavy and wet mountain snow, and showers and storms over the plains will all be possible.
