Current Agricultural Weather Conditions in Colorado
Based on observations at 100am MDT, Friday April 19, 2024

Across Colorado...temperatures are near 60 degrees west, near 33 degrees central, and near 44 degrees east. Current sky conditions are fair west, cloudy central, and cloudy east. In the west, relative humidity is near 28%, and the dew point is near 27 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 92%, and the dew point is near 31 degrees. In the east, relative humidity is near 43%, and the dew point is near 23 degrees. There is patchy fog central. Winds are from the west at 7 mph west, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the east at 12 mph central, where conditions are favorable for spraying. The wind chill is near 24 degrees central. Winds are from the east at 10 mph east, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 60 degrees at GRAND JUNCTION. The lowest temperature is 28 degrees at CRAIG and COTTONWOOD PAS.

 DAY ONE  Today and Tonight

Scattered light snow showers will continue in the mountains
through tonight, with widely scattered rain and snow showers over
the plains. A few places in the mountains will get an inch or two
of snow accumulation, with no accumulation expected on the 
plains.

 DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN  Friday through Wednesday

Unsettled weather pattern with periods of showers across the
mountains and plains through Saturday. Rain changes to snow Friday
night for the lower elevations. Best chances for accumulating 
snow will be Friday night through Saturday. Light accumulations 
for the lower elevations with moderate amounts for the Front Range
mountains/foothills and central mountains.
