Across Arizona...temperatures are near 38 degrees central and near 42 degrees south. Current sky conditions are partly cloudy central and clear south. In the north, relative humidity is near %, and the dew point is near degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 64%, and the dew point is near 27 degrees. In the south, relative humidity is near 58%, and the dew point is near 29 degrees. Winds are unavailable north. Winds are from the south at 7 mph central, where conditions are favorable for spraying. The wind chill is near 33 degrees central. Winds are from the south at 5 mph south, where conditions are favorable for spraying. The worst tornado disaster of record occurred in Chicago IL as a tornado
killed 28 persons and caused three million dollars damage. (David Ludlum)
...1997...
Ten tornadoes tore across the area, affecting the Kentucky counties of 
Adair, Metcalfe, Casey, Green, Larue, Marion, Hardin, Hart, Nelson, and 
Russell; and the Indiana counties of Scott and Jefferson. Two of the 
twisters produced F3 damage. A 28-year-old woman was killed in Metcalfe 
County as she was thrown from her destroyed mobile home. A 40-year-old man 
was killed when his house in Bonnieville (Hart County) was hit by one of 
the F3 tornadoes and blown off its foundation. This tornado injured many 
people when it caused several car accidents as it crossed Interstate 65.
