Across Arkansas...temperatures are near 72 degrees north, near 72 degrees central, and near 72 degrees south. Current sky conditions are sunny north, mostly sunny central, and sunny south. In the north, relative humidity is near 40%, and the dew point is near 47 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 45%, and the dew point is near 50 degrees. In the south, relative humidity is near 42%, and the dew point is near 48 degrees. Winds are from the southwest at 13 mph with gusts at 23 mph north, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Winds are from the southwest at 17 mph with gusts at 29 mph central, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Winds are from the south at 12 mph with gusts at 23 mph south, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 74 degrees at Texarkana. The lowest temperature is 39 degrees at .

 DAY ONE  Today and Tonight

Gusty S-SW winds will be seen at times across the state today,
peak wind gusts are expected to remain below 30 mph. A few
thunderstorms are possible from northern into central Arkansas
from this afternoon through tonight, but severe weather is not
expected. 

 DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN  Wednesday through Monday

Several rounds of showers and thunderstorms are expected to impact 
the area later this week and this weekend. All modes of severe 
weather will be possible, but there remains uncertainty regarding
the time and extent of the activity. Some parts of the state may 
have to contend with locally heavy rainfall as well.
