Across Arkansas...temperatures are near 53 degrees north, near 57 degrees central, and near 77 degrees south. Current sky conditions are light rain north, light rain central, and partly sunny south. In the north, relative humidity is near 86%, and the dew point is near 49 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 83%, and the dew point is near 52 degrees. In the south, relative humidity is near 71%, and the dew point is near 67 degrees. Winds are from the southeast at 8 mph north, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to light rain. Winds are from the east at 9 mph central, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to light rain. Winds are from the south at 6 mph south, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 79 degrees at Texarkana. The lowest temperature is 39 degrees at .

Hazardous Weather Outlook For FAULKNER County,AR

458 AM CDT Thu Apr 25 2024 DAY ONE Today and Tonight Shower and thunderstorm chances will continue to increase over much of Arkansas today as a warm front begins to lift northward across the region. A few of the stronger storms could produce hail up to the size of quarters, but organized severe weather is not expected. Heavy downpours could result in localized flooding. Rain chances will diminish for most areas late tonight as the surface boundary eventually lifts north of the state. DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN Friday through Wednesday Additional rounds of showers and thunderstorms will impact the area through the upcoming weekend and into early next week. All modes of severe weather will be possible, but there remains some uncertainty regarding the overall timing and extent of the activity. Locally heavy rainfall will become an increasing concern heading into the weekend as well, along with the potential for localized flash flooding. Spotter Information Statement Spotter activation is not expected through tonight.
