A narrow line of showers and embedded thunderstorms will accompany the cold frontal passage. Very limited instability will greatly limit the severe weather threat, but isolated wind gusts to 60 miles an hour, and possibly even a brief tornado, will be possible with this line of showers and storms. South winds will continue to increase today, with some gusts over 40 miles an hour across northeast Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas. Missoula MT broke their November record by 12 degrees with a reading of 23 below zero, and Salt Lake City UT smashed their previous November record of zero with a reading of 14 below.
